Editorial Reviews:

Product Description
It's a full-sized stake-side wagon with natural finished select wood sides and inflatable pneumatic tires for smooth travel over rugged terrain. The original Little Red Wagon design makes this wagon a classic. The high wooden stakes and big brawny air tires allow it able to handle on or off road adventures. Features full-sized all-steel seamless body with no scratch edges, extra long handle for easy pulling, no-pinch ball joint to keep fingers safe, fold-under handle for easy storage and controlled turning radius to prevent tipping.

Editorial Review
Wagons don't get much tougher than this one. Sporting fat pneumatic tires and rugged, stainless steel construction, this jumbo Radio Flyer wagon can haul topsoil as easily as toddlers, ably handling any kind of terrain with its 3-inch-wide, 11-inch-high rubber wheels. With a 16-by-34-inch bed, the wagon provides ample room for five or six grocery bags--or a couple of kids (maybe even one more if they're small). Six-inch-high, removable wooden side rails give the 4-inch-deep bed even more hauling power, and a nearly 3-foot-long steel handle with a plastic grip provides the pulling power. --Paul Hughes

5 out of 5 stars Great wagon. I expect many years of use & enjoyment   February 25, 2010
S. SCHLEGEL (woodbridge,va)
My daughter is 1 and we knew we wanted to get her a wagon. Radio Flyer was the one I found that had everything I wanted, which was the inflatable all terrain tires and the high sides. Its definitely not a 'cute' wagon, but its great for our purposes. We just got it a few weeks ago and even though there is snow on the ground/sidewalks, we are able to use our wagon just fine. I imagine it will perform well on the beach this year as well.

My only complaint about this wagon was the shipping. Our box was damaged and as a result, one side of the wagon was a little crushed. Instead of dealing with the hassle of returning it, we were able to pull the crushed part back out. Reasoning that this was going to be stored in the garage and probably get lots of scratches over time, no big deal. I would recommend putting it together outside in a well-ventilated area. The rubber tires will stink up your entire house otherwise.

Outstanding product --- well built and should last a lot of rough treatment by young grand daughter

Bought this wagon to take the Grandson for walks. It's sturdy and should be very durable. VERY cute.

5 out of 5 stars A Wonderful Classic Toy.   January 23, 2010
Gary Peterson (San Diego, California USA)
Our boy (16-months old) has always liked riding around in his two strollers. When he's tired and cranky, we can take him out for a stroller ride and that quiets him down almost immediately. About last Thanksgiving, we discovered that he likes, no loves, to ride around in a wagon. Now that really gets his attention! So we finally took the plunge and got him a Radio Flyer Wagon, a toy that was very popular when I was a kid back in the 50s. We decided on the All-Terrain Steel and Wood model.

All the parts arrived in a big box and it required assembly by the new owner. It was easy. All you needed was a screwdriver, a pliers, a crescent wrench and a hammer. Assembly took about an hour Almost anyone with the least bit of handiness could do it.

Later, we took the boy out for several rides. He loved it! He just beamed and laughed at the experience. We're going to get a lot of use out of this toy, I can tell. Plus, I can use it as a garden and yard workhorse. It's strong and sturdily built and should take a lot of play and abuse. Our boy is a little young at present, but he'll enjoy this wagon way up into grade school, I'm sure. It's a little bit expensive as a toy, but I'd love to have had this thing as a kid and I think he'll feel the exactly the same way.

5 out of 5 stars Excellent for 1 yr old and will last forever   January 21, 2010

We looked at purchasing the Radio Flyer model with seats and seat belts etc but really wanted something that our child could use now and grow into. This was perfect as other reviewers have mentioned and won't get thrown to the side when our 1 year old gets tired of being locked in a seatbelt. It's safe as the extra wood siding is tall enough for when the kids are sitting. I definitely won't let our son stand in it until he's older. The all terrain wheels allow us to go anywhere. Our son LOVES the wagon - the faster the better - and still seems safe (obviously, it's up to you whether it tips over at those speeds).

My only issue was shipping - the wagon came with a small dent from shipping. But, that's not to blame Radio Flyer on.

Highly recommended if you're looking for a great wagon.
