I bought this for measuring snow temp to best wax my skis before a race, works perfectly and the protective cover is nice, too. Rapidly changes temp to warm/cold and good range.

This is a quick, accurate thermometer. Easy to use, long battery life and has held up well for several years. My only complaint is the temperature guide that is wrapped around the plastic sheath did not last. First the lettering wore off and then the plastic laminate peeled off. For those of you who know your meat temperatures, this is no big deal, but I appreciated the quick confirmation of what Rare or Medium Well is in my hamburgers.

I really like this digital thermometer. It is very quick and appears to be accurate in testing that I have done. My son, a chef, highly recommends it as well.
