Product Description Solid brass propane filler coupler is designed to be used with refillable and disposable single use cylinders. Works with the new OPD valves in all the new grilling tanks (20lbs). Fill propane cylinders FAST from your 20, 30 or 40-lb. propane tank. No need to buy a new replacement cylinder when you can refill it in a minute... with about 30 cents' worth of gas from your large tank.

I've finally moved into using the larger propane tanks and this is definitely a handy helper to refill the smaller ones.

This product is great, I did have a few problems until I read some instructions on the internet. I also use a digital scale, this is a must. Last week I put 22.1 OZ in a 16.4 OZ tank. Once I weighed the tank I immediately took it outside and released the excess gas.
Was sick of wasting old 1lb tanks. January 9, 2010 I Bought It 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
It is really ridiculous to just throw those used tanks away. When I think of all the money I've thrown away buying new ones, wow. I was kind of worried about how safe it is to refill cylinders, but I'm sure many more people are killed each year putting gas in their car. I always refill my tanks outside, on the ground, with no flames, sparks or any thing like that nearby. Also, I make sure to ground my self and the tanks so there is no chance of static electricy discharge.
