Product Description The Rogue Starter Acoustic Guitar is an amazing deal for a small-bodied guitar. The smaller profile is very playable for kids, has nice tone, and can be yours for chump change. It has a maple neck and rosewood fretboard and comes set up with Martin strings.

Excellent Starter Guitar January 2, 2009 K. D. Payne (Chattanooga) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I bought this for my 7 year old for Christmas... he's thrilled. First of all it's one of the most attractive starter guitars I've seen, second, once we changed out the strings for some slightly higher quality, the guitar sounds great (well as great as a 7 year old with no training can sound). I loved the low cost simply because we have no idea how long he'll enjoy messing around with it. I'll agree that this guitar is a bit big for him, and a bit smaller than your average acoustic, but he'll grow into it sooner than later. I highly recommend this guitar for parents who's children have no experience with an instrument, but are harassing you night and day for one. This looks like a much more expensive guitar than what you have paid, and sounds as good as any other starter guitar I've heard.
great purchase December 31, 2008 Jujubee (IL, USA) This guitar is so cool looking in person - the blue hues are neat to look at. It's a well made guitar and perfect for my 11 year old son who wants to learn to play one. He loved it! Nice sound for a starter guitar.
Good Guitar for a Great Price September 13, 2008 L. Kain 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I got this guitar due to the smaller size. The neck is the only thing noticibly shorter which is perfect for a small framed person. It is a starter guitar but the sound quality is great. I've only had to tune it the day I got it. I've played it every day since & it's still in tune. I've had it for 3 weeks now. I got the blueburst & it is very attractive.
Awesome Starter Guitar July 28, 2008 jjoy36 (Fairmont, WV) 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
So far I have ordered two of these guitars (blue). How many times as parents have we spent loads of money on things our kids/teens just had to have, only to find the items sitting unused merely months later. I wanted my daughter to have the opportunity to explore her interest and talent at playing the guitar without spending a fortune. I have to admit that the low price made me skeptical. I have seen "starter" guitars at the local Wal-Mart for over $80.00 that really looked cheap. I was extremely pleased with the price, the timely shipping, and the quality of the guitar. Most impressive, however, is the look of the guitar. It is just beautiful, and according to a friend of mine who has been playing for years, the quality of sound is very good for the price of the guitar. I would, and have, recommended this item to many people. I would never consider another choice for someone wanting to begin playing.
