Classic and sturdy, this black, solid wood grand piano is an adorable accessory for your child's playroom or bedroom. Toddlers will love feigning Mozart alongside real pianists, or simply getting their fingers prepared for those afterschool lessons. That said, this piano is not a real piano; the keys are arranged like the real thing, but it doesn't use tunable strings. And while it gives the proper notes, the instrument sounds more like the toy that it is, rather than a tiny Steinway, as the elegant exterior implies.

The piano has only 15.5 inches of legroom underneath, and the matching bench is about 12 by 8.5 inches, so kids older than 4 or perhaps 5 years would hardly be able to play comfortably at it. To get your mini maestro started, a page of letter-coded sheet music featuring short familiar songs, such as "London Bridge" and "Jingle Bells," is included.
