5 out of 5 stars Awesome deal on an awesome magazine   February 12, 2010
Marco Ramius (Buffalo, NY USA)
I've been a Popular Mechanics reader for a long time, so to me the product itself needs no review; that said I'll try to provide a mini review.

Popular Mechanics is an excellent source for DIY projects and knowledge, and profiles/reviews of new technology. This is one of the few periodicals that I have no problem reading cover to cover every month; the other being Popular Science (and yes they do have different, though sometimes similar, content). The ability to sign up for a two year subscription through Amazon considerably cheaper than anywhere else is just the icing on the cake.

I would buy this again, buy this for a friend/family member, recommend this to an acquaintance, and keep it from an evil genius.

3 out of 5 stars Not for this tech/science geek   February 7, 2010
THATCH (OHIO)
I've found that I don't spend much time with my subscription. I'm a science/tech geek but the topics that are covered for cover stories just haven't really grabbed me since I got the subscription. If in a desperate situation the read is interesting & informative, but I can't say that it's felt compelling to me.

5 out of 5 stars Very happy with my order!   February 6, 2010
Jennifer Hall (Indiana)
I ordered Popular Mechanics for my son as a Christmas gift. He loves it and was very happy! His 1st issue came a few weeks quicker than expected and comes right on time each month! Great magazine!
