This product works really well. We used it as an alternate oven while our kitchen was beinge remodeled, and it was good for heating up pizzas, breaded chicken, fish, even vegetables, and was also a good toaster. Like other toaster ovens, the top gets hot, but overall, it's a great value.

Though I was looking for a smaller toaster-oven to replace one that died, the combination of good reviews and price led me to this one, and I'm glad it did. Yes, it'll use a bit more power, but in the week or so I've had it, it's done a good job of toasting and baking. (Toasting is, in fact, both quicker and more even than both my old toaster-oven and a regular toaster produced.) I rather wish one could set the timer for longer periods, but that's a quibble. The removable drip pan is a real plus, as it'll be easier to clean up spillovers. The outside does indeed become hot, as many have mentioned, but I find a pair of simple bamboo tongs is a good safeguard for pulling pieces of toast off the rack. With free shipping, Amazon was definitely a best buy location.

I have had this toaster oven for about 1 week now but I know that I already love it. It took about 5 toastings before I didn't burn what I was toasting but now I know where to keep the settings for each item I toast. Everything cooks evenly and the inside fits a lot and it doesn't take up too much room on my counter. I was replacing a really expensive Cuisanart toaster oven that was really crappy, I will never buy that brand again. I went with Black & Decker this time because I have other products from them and they really have held up. The price was also very good and I know that they will stand behind there product if anything goes wrong.

Primarily, I just use this oven for toast. That said, it works really well. But -- as another reviewer wrote -- there isn't much room for larger foods.

Excellent value for a multi-tasking lower price range basic kitchen utility appliance. I have used the toast, bake and broil functions successfully. The thermostat temperature control functions evenly and consistently. Individual controls for temperature, function and timing allow a full range of adjustments. This is not a one-touch for operation appliance and requires particular settings by the user. Control knobs are full sized and easy to clean. The interior trays are also easily removable for cleaning. The glass door mechanism is constructed solidly and affords a full interior view. The unit cools rapidly after use. My only criticism is that when closing the door the interior rack linkage jams slightly requiring additional effort. This is not a problem for me but children and seniors may have difficulty. Any appliance requires a user learning process to perform to individual expectations and this one "con" is offset by the many "pro" aspects. Otherwise this would be a 5-Star review.
Overall I recommend this appliance for the price range and utility. If you want a toaster, just buy a toaster. If you want an oven, just buy an oven. If you want a good quality toaster oven, buy this appliance.
