With a 2-3/4-inch bottom that fits most vehicle drink holders, this lightweight mug makes hot coffee, tea, or chocolate available on the road. Hot beverages stay hot for at least 1 hour. Cold beverages stay chilled for several hours. Twist the finely threaded stopper tight, and the mug won't leak even if it's knocked over. Twist it about a quarter-turn and drink out of either side--lips on both sides make it easy--without removing the stopper. Made of stainless steel and tough plastic, with a rubber inset inside the handle for comfort and a rubberized ring around the body for a firm grip, the mug is handsome and virtually unbreakable. It stands 7-1/4 inches high, and its smooth stainless-steel interior cleans easily with a sponge or cloth. Nissan insulated products carry five-year warranties against defects. --Fred Brack

This is a very fine stainless steel coffee mug. It has a sturdy rubber handle with an optional clip. The manufacturer's instructions advise against washing in a dish washer. The mug keeps liquids warm for hours. The lid forms a tight seal that in my experience has been absolutely leak-proof. In fact, that's my only problem with this mug--the seal can be so tight that I can't open the mug at all. Generally, this happens when there is a large difference between liquid temperature inside the mug and air temperature outside. I once poured boiling water in the mug and took it on a long hike on a 5 degree F day. When I tried to open the mug out on the trail, no amount of twisting with my fingers alone could loosen the lid. In such situations, a pair of pliers is handy. When applied to the center crosspiece of the lid, you can generally get enough force to break the seal without scratching the plastic surfaces that contact your lips. In general, I would recommend this mug as a great leak-proof way to keep liquids warm over a long period of time, but it can be a bit challenging to open, and thus may not be appropriate for those with compromised hand-strength.

I love this mug. It keeps my drink hot and is leak proof. I am able to add sweetner while tea is steeping and then turn it upside down without spillage. There is no need to stir it. I bought a second one to have on hand just in case they change the product. My son told me about this mug and he can't say enough good things about it.

I am, literally, in awe everytime I use this mug. I put hot water and tea in at 7:15 am and close it. I open it at 10:15 and it's still hot...not like "oh so so" hot, but "OH SO SO HOT".
Also, if you stick it in the freezer for a few minutes and then fill it with ice cold (liquor), you can have a frosty cocktail in the parking lot of your favorite concert, even if it's a few hours away. 8) don't forget the chaser. No ice necessary.
I take this mug hiking, climbing, to the club, to work, hell I even bathe with it on occasion.
5 stars A+++, if it ever breaks, I'll buy three more.
