I love this camera! I bought it to keep in my purse and as a back up to my SLR. I end up using it more than the SLR. I haven't tried it in the water yet, but I used it in the snow which was really cool because I wouldn't have wanted my expensive camera to get wet. I even took it snowmobiling. Also I let my little neices and nephews use/play with it without worrying about if they're going to drop it or chew on it :) It has a lot of different modes to choose from, more than I'll ever use, but it's nice to just switch to a different mode in any situation without changing any settings manually. I think the image quality is great - I haven't tried any close ups or anything like that (that's what my SLR is for). I highly recommend this camera to anyone.

This camera is awesome! Waterproof and Shockproof...that's exactly what I need in a camera and it also takes an awesome picture. It's also reasonably priced. Great value over all!

5 stars. Very good camera to take hunting/rafting/hiking trips. I think you do give up a little picture quality with the small lense. Pay attention to sun angle.
