| Customer Reviews:
Highly Recommend this book to learn about Dreamweaver. March 11, 2010 GPDMTR25 (Sunny California) There are some very good reviews here so I'm not going to go into too much detail about the book. I just wanted to add my 5 stars because I think it's a very good book. I had also purchased the How-to 100 essential techniques book and reviewed it with 1 star, don't waste your money, but with The Missing Manual you're really learn how to use Dreamweaver. The beginning of each chapter has an in-depth explanations about a subject then at the end of the chapter you do an exercise to make sure you really understand how to do it. The CD, that comes with the book, contains the exercises so you can practice it on your own computer. Great Book for a great price.
Helped an Old Fart March 3, 2010 T. F. Doyle (Kingwood Texas) I am 67,retired, and have a web site just for fun and something to do. I built site was four years ago with Dreamweaver MX 2004.
When I got a new MAC, I also got dreamweaver CS4 and spent a frustrating month trying to use it. Mr. McFarland's book has made sense out of an overly complicated Dreamweaver program. It am very pleased with it and have found it extremely useful. I would highly recommend it, but only if you have a lot of time to digest it. CS4 on the other hand is still a pain in the butt due to its unnecessary complexity.

great service February 25, 2010 mark every time i buy through Amazon.com i save money. the products have always been better than i would have expected.
No Longer Missing February 14, 2010 Frank Reynolds This manual is as good or better than the manuals that Adobe used to include with their software. I just wish that I had gotten this book months ago when I started using DreamWeaver.
good book February 6, 2010 Kay U. Schindel (Madison, WI) I found the book very helpful. i had used a bit Dreamweaver CS3 and had the CS-bible. So i looked into the CS-4 bible as well but this book seemed much better organized.
I'm just a simple web designer, just for my private needs and our home owners association. No flash, html programming etc. this book also has some areas that go beyond my current needs, so it will be useful to a more experienced web designer.
