I have scott kelby books and now this shows you and explains to you every thing about what you read. I have watch this over and over again and each time I walk away with some new ideas. if you love scott kelby then you will really love this. He's really in the room with you talking and walking you thur every step of the way.

Content is acceptable and worthwhile, but I first learned of this product in "Photoshop User" magazine.
I may have misunderstood the product description when I ordered it from Amazon, but I was quite surprised to find out that the booklet is quite minimal and the valuable content is mainly on the DVD. THIS IS NOT A BOOK WITH A DVD IN THE BACK.

Over the past 10 years, I have learned so much about photography by reading Scott Kelby's books. As soon as Amazon sent me an email about this new DVD I bought it immediately. I am very happy with my purchase. I have always been curious about lighting but, since I never had the equipment I just skipped these chapters in the books. Now, I can see exactly what I need to buy, and how to set it up. In addition to providing the DVD, he has written a small book to go with it. The book gives you all the info that is covered on the DVD. So, you can reinforce what you have learned when you are not able to watch the DVD.
I have always enjoyed Scott's sense of humor in his books (the people that don't enjoy it really need to lighten up and stop being so serious!) and it was nice to see a little bit of his personality on the DVD. I can't wait for Scott to make more of these. I HIGHLY recommend this to all beginners. I have watched it a couple of times now and I can't wait to buy the equipment and try these techniques out myself. Thanks again Scott for helping me to become a better photographer.

Another great product from Scott Kelby. I love the easy with which you are introduced to the set ups. I have to say that if you expect to see a totally new set of tutorials that is not the package for you. The idea behind this product is to give you a video representation on very popular techniques and lighting set ups already introduced in Scott Kelby's Digital Photography Book series. So if you have all three books and you are looking for something totally new and different this is not the product for you. But if you love your three Digital Photography books like me, keep them handy and usually go back to read again about a set up or cool tip this DVD and booklet are great addition to it. The price as well is great for what you get. Well put together, straight to the point tutorials on some of the most popular techniques from Scott Kelby's Digital Photography Books.
