If you want to learn Flash CS4, this is a great resource. The lessons are well organized and detailed; they are easy to follow, with step-by-step instructions for each lesson.
It was a pleasure to work through the book and I highly recommend it to anyone without any Flash experience. Please note, It does NOT include much about ActionScript, but there are additional books dedicated to ActionScript programming if you're interested. For someone who was just finding interest in flash, I had no idea how to use it. I purchased this book and found it amazing. I really did, it showed me all the basics which (the first 3-4 chapters) I could understand well since I am accustomed to Photoshop and Illustrator. Even if you are not, you wont find it difficult to understand. Everything is explained and you are guided in baby steps which allow you to really understand the sequence in the chapter. I am on chapter 5 now and go home eager to learn more about this wonderful program through a guide which keeps me excited about learning, and not worried about understanding their lesson.
Comes with a CD, its one buy I am ABSOLUTELY happy with, I hope their Actionsript book is this through and well understood. I fully recommend this item to anyone interested in learning flash.
