I was really excited when I saw this toy was recommended if you had the Sophie (giraffe) toy. Well my LO likes to throw it rather than use it as a teething toy. She loves Sophie but isn't to interested in this toy. Maybe she will like it more over time.

My son is 4 months old and I thought he was getting bored of his other rattles and toys, so I bought this one. He loves it! It is his new favorite toy. The colored rings are perfect for his little hands and he can chew on it while he holds it.

My baby didn't show much interest in toys at first. We bought this when she was just starting to bat at a toy on her car seat (3.5 months). She took to this toy right away and it is definitely her absolute favorite (she is now 5 months). It is soft and easy to grip, the rattle in the middle is not to loud but stimulating, and she can easily put it in her mouth and play with it. We do not go anywhere without this toy and she screams in excitement as soon as we pull it out for her to play.

My 4 and 1/2 month old son loves the winkel. I got it as a Christmas present for him after hearing a lot of good reviews and we weren't disappointed. At the time he was just starting to grasp toys and this was easy for him to grab and move. The bright colors keep his attention and he likes to put it in his mouth now. I feel the winkel has really helped his development and I would recommend it to anyone with kids around 3-6 months.
