Have two of these. Even my sister can use them. January 7, 2009 Osage (U.S.A.) I have two of these things. One I keep in my purse and the other in the little pack on my bicycle. They both work great. I have tested them against more expensive gages, professional models, and they are quite close to the mark. I find these particularly useful with my cycle as a few pounds of air can make a world of difference in how the bike reacts and rides. The price is right. They are so simple to use that even my sister who is far less bright than your average brick or stump can use them with no problem.
Save energy November 30, 2008 D. Poland (NJ) 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
Barack Obama suggested we maintain tire pressure to get better gas mileage and save energy. This device is accurate, easy to use and takes little space in the glove box.
Worked so well I had to get another one November 29, 2008 Carol (Chatsworth, CA United States) I was trying to put air in my tires at a gas station near my home but was having difficulty. Happens that the rep from the company that supplies the air machine was near by and saw me struggling. He came to help and realized the hose was bad, so he replaced it. He filled my tires for me and used my digital tire gauge to check the pressure. He was so impressed with this little gadget I had to give it to him... hence I had to buy myself a new one. I find it easy to use. I never let more than a very little air out of the tire when I'm putting it on. Once it's on, it seals pretty well and there shouldn't be anymore air loss. It reaches the tire pressure quickly and it's easy to read while still on the tire. I purchased several for gifts. The old fashion type is good, but I can never seem to find it when I need it. I hang this in my car and it's always right where I can find it.
