The pictures on Amazon match what the shoe looks like in person. There are also sparkles that are not over done. My daughter is a 10.5 on a foot chart and 28 is perfect. The 29 had just too much extra room in the toe. These shoes look great. The mesh sides and holes in the sole of the shoe make me want to try a pair of my own. The lights are white and you can not see them unless they are lighing up. The lights are in between the material on the sides of the shoes. So even when the lights stop working no one will ever know they lit up in the first place.
