| Liberty League | Liberty League's Pay Plan |

By: Tom Culbertson

Here we'll look over in more detail than you're usual article the compensation plan that Liberty League uses.

Liberty League's been around the block now for quite a few years. Going on seven now. This means that in your search for a home business you more than likely came across Liberty League. You're here because you most likely want to find out more about the company before you join. So here we're going to take a look at the most important thing. The compensation plan.

In this article I'm just going to focus on the compensation plan because that's the most important thing to look at so lets get started. Many people will tell you that Liberty League has a 2-Up compensation plan. This simply means that you are going to have to pass up your first two sales to your sponsor before you can make money on the Liberty League product yourself.

Now while it's partially true that Liberty League has a 2-Up pass up program, were not seeing the whole picture here. When you get ready to join Liberty League you will have two options. You can actually join the company for only $49.95 and not have to purchase any product but if you go this route you will then have to pass up your first five sales to your sponsor. That's a total of $5,000 in commissions that you will lose if you do that.

With Liberty League the only time you will have to pass up only two of your first sales to your sponsor is if you buy Liberty League's Beyond Freedom program. This program will cost you $1495 plus shipping and handling. This is where everybody talks about Liberty League being a 2-Up because most people will go ahead and buy the program when they join.

If you want to get technical at this point you could say that Liberty League is both a 2-Up and a 5-Up. However it is also a 4-Up as well. You'll shortly find out why. Liberty League has two more products that they sell and they are conferences. The first product is called the Liberty Conference and the second product is called the Summit conference.

The Liberty conference has a price tag of $7,995 and the Summit conference has a price tag of $12,995. Pretty high right. Liberty League will tell you that if you compare their prices to others you will see that they offer a relatively low price. I'm not sure whether this is true or not. I do know just like you that this is a lot of money though.

If you'd like to be able to sell these Liberty League conferences and make money on them you are first required to purchase the conferences for yourself. Just so you know these conference tickets do not include your air fare, hotel stay, transportation, or food. Also before you can make any money you will have to pass up your first four sales for both the Liberty Conference and the Summit Conference. That's a total of 8 more sales before your at the top income level with Liberty League which is the Summit Level.

So if you want to get technical here Liberty League can be considered a 2-Up, a 5-Up, and also a 4-Up as far as their pass up program is concerned. It just depends on what level you are currently at with the company. If you don't mind passing all these sales and spending a lot of money Liberty League might still be for you. Liberty League after a law suit in 2006 was required to show what their average earnings are. I checked it out and they claim that 81% of it's members are going to average around $7,000 a year. Now check out some numbers here. If you buy the Beyond Freedom program you have to spend $1495. Then you pass up your first two sales to your sponsor. Add that up and your now at $3500.

Also keep in mind the cost of marketing your business, the 49.95 you are charged per month for your site and then the $99.00 that you are charged every three months to have access to the conference calls. This ads up to another $995.40 and still doesn't include any marketing costs. It's very safe to say that you will spend at least $100 a month marketing your website. That's another $1,200 right there. So for the 81% of the people that make $7,000 a year it's safe to say that they will spend at least $5,700 in the process. This means you have a 81% chance with Liberty League to make $1,300 a year with the company. Sorry I'm all about numbers and these numbers aren't very promising.

So in conclusion I'd recommend passing on Liberty League. The compensation plan is pretty old school and the marketing techniques that they use are just as old. There are companies that you'll have a much better chance of success with without the big risk of losing so much money. I'd say no to Liberty League and continue you're search for the perfect business.
